And we have a Trailer!

Hey folks,

We've been pretty busy with other things (B-Gen, day jobs and real life!), and as you know we're taking a break from Frankie's Quest (and working on something new!)

However, we've always wanted to have an official trailer for Frankie's Quest. So we went ahead and did one!

Here it is:

Until next time,

B-Gen: A tribute to Nine Inch Nails

Hey folks!

We're sorry we've not updated Frankie's Quest in a long time. It's because Frankie's Quest has been put on hold for the time being. But wait, we have good excuse for that!

We're working on a brand new game B-Gen which is being entered into the PSP Genesis competition 2011. B-Gen is about matter, anti-matter and their struggle for universal dominance during the early stages of the universe.

We're great fans of the industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails and are making this game as a tribute to them. B-Gen uses music from their free album - The Slip. However, the music is not included purely for aesthetic purposes; it plays a major role in the gameplay. This means that it is recommended to play with sound on (headphones would be best) for the full experience.

For more info, including playable downloads, check out the game's official thread here.

Oh and before you go, check out a play-through video of the first track "1,000,000":

v0.4 Released for Windows, Mac, PSP!

Hey folks! We've just released a new version of Frankie's Quest. It has a new Christmas themed world with new gameplay mechanics! You can download the new version (0.4) from the Download Now! section (at the right-hand side of this page).

Yes, we're aware that this update is a little late for the holiday season it references. We hope that it's still winter-ish where most of you good people are. Besides, as the saying goes, "it's better late than never"!

Installation instructions remain the same as before, so we're not going to boringly repeat them here.

Enjoy, and don't forget to leave feedback for us!

New character artwork: Little Timmy

We're working on a new world for the next update and thought we'd share artwork for a new character who'll make an appearance in it. His name is Little Timmy and he's a tinkerer. But that's all we're allowed to say for the moment! :D

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

We very much wanted to release a Christmas themed world, but got delayed due to the phenomenon known as a RealLife™ job.

However, we've made the high-quality versions of the current music in Frankie's Quest available for your listening pleasure. Just follow the SoundCloud badge at the right, to be taken to the soundtrack. All the music is under a creative commons license so go ahead and share it as you please. :)

Happy Holidays!
